Résumé :
On s’intéresse peu à la littérature latino-américaine en France à l’aube du XXème siècle. La critique n’aide pas à la découverte de Darío, traduit tardivement. Pages choisies (1918) est le premier livre qui le fait connaître, traduit par 10 traducteurs différents. Si résultat est inégal, les traductions d’Aubry sont si sophistiquées qu’on peut y voir un hommage à Darío et à l’art de la traduction.

Resumen:
A principios del siglo XX Francia se interesa poco por la literatura latinoamericana. La crítica no favorece la comprensión del poeta. En 1918, Pages choisies revela la obra de Darío gracias a 10 traductores diferentes. El resultado no convence siempre, pero contiene 6 poemas traducidos con tanta sutileza por Aubry que podemos considerarlos como un homenaje a Darío y al arte de la traducción.

Abstract:
At the beginning of the XXth century, France is hardly interested in Latin American literature. Critics do not favour an understanding of the poet. Pages choisies (1918) unveils Darío’s work, thanks to 10 translators. The result is not always convincing but it contains six poems, translated by Aubry so exquisitely, that they can be considered a homage to Darío and to the art of translation.
